„Artworks are puzzle pieces in the infinite game of the kosmos.“

„Sincere irony is the authentic/ironic attitude of the artist in metamodernity.“ (deloewre bringing Hanzi Freinacht to a point)
I have done a lot of different things in my life. I have a law degree, tried to be a friend of wisdom and was the Austrian national backgammon champion and the U-18 national chess champion. Artistically, I have been writing for quite some time, primarily haiku. For about a year now, I have been active at the Living Museum Graz, where I paint and I started taking a lot of photographs. I generally enjoy making outsider art and participated in a group exhibition of the LMG 2025. My first solo exhibition is planned for fall 2026.
My paintings are rooted in the Abstract Expressionist style, and I work with patula, trowels and brayers on canvases measuring from 40 x 50 cm up to 60 x 90 cm. Some of my paintings also incorporate text in a mixed-media style. I experiment extensively with acrylic and gouache paints and various words cut out from magazines. I am inspired by Gerhard Richter, Jean Miró, Mark Rothko, Jean-Michel Basquiat, and the philosophers Ken Wilber and Hanzi Freinacht, though I always strive to forge my own path. My art should be affordable and fit on any wall.
My other areas of interest are photography and haiku (haiga). Unlike classical haiku—such as those by Basho, which deal primarily with nature—my haiku experiment with a wide variety of themes, though I always use the 5-7-5 meter. Other than that, however, I’ve broken every rule of haiku composition at least once. :) I take photos both analog and digitally, though the photo usually comes before the haiku. There is a “haiku moment” in the process, though I generally avoid feigning Satori.
